Continuing our Success Stories Series, we are delighted to share the experience of Cambria Kem and her son, Amarri, a young boy who has suffered from eczema his whole life.
My 4 year-old, Amarri, was born with eczema. The auto immune condition affected me as a child also. I am the person who has tried it all, creams, ointments, smelly natural products, steroid creams that dyed his skin, oatmeal baths, and the list goes on.
This past summer Amarri’s condition took a turn for the worst. I saw a friend that mentioned to me that her daughter danced with a mom whose daughter’s skin was like night and day after the use of a local product gone national, called TrueLipids. I was willing to try anything since I had nothing to lose. I learned that the creator of this product line had a dermatology practice in Alpine, UT, so I made an apt there (Alpine Dermatology) to discuss the options for Amarri in July 2015.

I had family friends in town that evening because we were going camping for the holiday weekend. I went to work the next day to get a call from my oldest daughter who was watching Amarri who told me his eczema was bad. I have heard this before so I told her to use the TrueLipids as I told her and I would look at him when I got home. My daughter replied with, “No mom it’s terrible!” She sent me a picture to prove it, and I was almost in tears! The back of my 4 year-old son’s leg was weeping, it literally looked like road rash. I immediately called Alpine Dermatology and asked for Cheryl. The office said to send a picture. I received a call from the doctor even thought she was out for the office for the holiday.
Dr. Cheryl Lee gave me a specific regimen to use with the TrueLipids products and told me that this would work if I stuck with it.
I was relentless and stuck to the regimen for the next 6 days and could not believe my eyes. The photos above show day one, day three, and day six of Amarri using TrueLipids.
Because of this success with these products on my son’s skin, I was able to take him camping with the family that weekend. We still took extra care of his leg, and wrapped it to avoid it getting dirty. I didn’t want him to miss out on the fun, simply because of his skin condition.
He has dealt with his whole life, and it’s amazing now to have something that gives us a reason to hope!
